EARLY YEARS SEND HUB COORDINATOR
Jo is a Special Needs Teacher with 16 years’ experience. She has taught children with high needs throughout her career and has a good understanding of a wide range of strategies, resources and techniques to remove barriers to learning and promote development in the Early Years.
Jo’s role as the EY SEND Base Co-ordinator for Start Well involves supporting the five high needs bases, which are attached to nurseries in Bolton. She organises the high needs base panel and has responsibilities for monitoring, training and developing the facilities, so that the bases are all of equally high quality and can confidently provide specialist environments for children with specific needs.
