Exciting opportunity for those wanting to step up into a senior role and/or those wishing to use their experience and knowledge in a leadership/management position - we are looking for a Pre-School Room Leader. A particular interest in SEND is required (training can be provided). If you are looking to join a professional but family friendly nursery team/setting then we want to meet you. Our basic requirements are:

Room Leader requirement and skills:

• Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification – Essential.
• Over 2 years’ experience working in Early Years – Essential.
• Over 6 months’ experience working in a senior position – Desirable.
• Sound knowledge of SEND - Essential.
• L3 Safeguarding - Desirable (training can be provided)
• Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations to achieve a Good or Outstanding rating –Essential
• Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements – Essential.
• Experience in Wellcomm assessments- Desirable
• Fluent in written and spoken English –Essential.
• Ability to work with many ethnic families - Essential
• Ability to converse with parents and be friendly, welcoming and approachable - Essential
• A good team member - help others with ideas, plans, but most importantly good practice on a daily basis - Essential
• Awareness of Prevent, FGM, Government Legislation - Essential

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
