Open to all staff in Bolton that work with children and families across the wider Family Hub network. Lunch not provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own!

 

Working with Dads

When: Wednesday 26 June 2024, 12:30pm - 2:00pm

Where: Tonge Family Hub, Starkie Road, BL2 2ED

Description: Join Dad Matters to better understand the impact positive engagement and intervention with dads can have on dads, mums, babies and the wider family, and how you can increase engagement with dads and support them to access other services including Dad Matters. 

Aimed at: Anyone working with dads who are expecting or have a child under the age of 2.

A basic introduction to Domestic Abuse and Violence (DAV) Awareness

When: Friday 26 July 2024 – 12:00pm - 1:30pm

Where: Harvey Start Well Centre, Shaw Street, BL3 6HU

Description: Join Fortalice in a basic awareness raising session on how to identify, recognise, and respond to disclosures of domestic abuse and violence. Participants will learn how to identify possible indicators and how to support individuals. In addition, you will develop knowledge of Fortalice services, other Bolton based DAV services, and referral pathways.

Aimed at: Anyone who works with those affected by DAV or has an interest in learning more on how to support those affected by DAV.
