Champion Training
for Early Years Professionals:

BBC Tiny Happy People is part of BBC Education, providing evidence based, accessible activities, tips and advice to empower parents / carers to support the speech, language and emotional development of their little ones from bump to 5 years. The BBC Tiny Happy initiative aims to reduce the number of children starting primary school without the expected levels of communication skills by supporting parents / families to help develop their little ones’ vocabulary in the home learning environment.

For schools and PVI’s: We are offering opportunities to attend a FREE ONLINE WEBINAR and become a Tiny Happy People champion.  You will be guided through the Tiny Happy People website in detail, by Beth from the BBC, demonstrating how to make it beneficial for your teams.

There are 2 sessions to choose from: Monday 8th July: 6:00pm – 7:00pm or Tuesday 9th July: 4:00pm – 5:00pm. Book here: (Schools and PVIs) BBC THP Webinar.

For Childminders: Developed by childminders and Tiny Happy People attend this FREE ONLINE WEBINAR and become a Tiny Happy People champion. You will be guided through the Tiny Happy People website in detail, by Beth from the BBC, demonstrating how to make it beneficial for professionals working in a home based setting.

This webinar will concentrate on understanding and supporting schematic play, which children use to aid their understanding of the specific conceptual idea they are experimenting with on a deeper level. Everyone joining the live webinar will also be entered into a raffle to win 2 of Dr Stella’s books.
