Elklan Let's Talk course for parents and carers
This course is primarily aimed at parents and carers of adults and young people with profound and multiple learning difficulties. May also suite L1 TA's, Support Workers etc.
This short course is designed to support language and learning and begins in May 2023.
The topics covered during the course include:
- Understanding what's happening when we talk to each other
- Developing thinking and play skills
- Maximising interaction
- Using objects, pictures, signs and symbols to communicate
- Encouraging children to communicate with us
