Early Years Foundation Stage Profile Handbook - New release for 2023 statutory assessment.
The new EYFS Profile Handbook has been released for the 2023 statutory assessment. This guidance is for:
- Early years and key stage 1 practitioners
- Headteachers and setting managers
- Local authorities
It should be used to help complete early years foundation stage profile judgments so that outcomes are accurate and consistent across all early years settings.
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Profile is statutory for the 2022 to 2023 academic year, except for providers legally exempt under relevant regulations. The EYFS Profile must be completed for each child and submitted to the local authority no later than the 30th June 2023.
