SafeTALK is a four-hour face-to-face workshop. Know what to do if someone’s suicidal by following the easy to remember TALK steps – Tell, Ask, Listen and Keep-safe.
What will I learn?
You'll learn how to prevent suicide by recognising signs, engaging someone, and connecting them to an intervention resource for further support.
This session helps participants to:
- Understand how personal and community beliefs about suicide affect suicide stigma and safety.
- Appreciate how talking openly about suicide can help prevent it.
- Contribute to suicide safety by protecting, preserving, and promoting life in communities.
Audience
For those who wish to become more aware of suicide prevention
