Greater Manchester SEND Green Paper Community Response

News

11th July 12:30 - 14:30, online

  • Do you have something to say about support for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

  • Are you Interested in making their lives better?

  • Welcome!

The Green Paper produced by the Government sets out what they want to change about the system that supports children with SEND.

The focus of this session is most definitely on 'INEQUALITIES' - there will be discussion about how the proposed changes will affect those also disadvantaged by poverty, worklessness, mental health issues, deprivation, refugee status, race, and so on.

If you are interested in protecting the rights of the most disadvantaged, please go along and have your say.

The Wraparound Partnership will collaborate and develop a shared response to be submitted by the deadline of the 22nd July.

Anyone is welcome to attend, any organisation and professional who has a genuine interest in children and young people with SEND and families more widely.
