This training is delivered by Phil Mitchell; a BACP senior accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with over 15 years’ experience of working with sexually abused, assaulted, and exploited boys and men. Phil will look at why services may have to adapt when dealing with male victims and the reasons for that., positive perceptions of masculinity, male-friendly approaches and how the ACHIEVE model can be used to improve CSE services for boys.

Presented by the Beacon Trust who work with victims and families impacted by this harmful behaviour which is far more prevalent then professionals would imagine in our digital world that children are immersed in.  This is a very informative session on a topic professionals and staff typically get little or no training for. The extent of the effect of a gambling culture in children’s life’s is possibly much more than imagined due to the mobile phone, gaming and social media.

Bolton Safeguarding Children Partnership is hosting a series of informative “Network Bites”. The next webinar in this successful series is by “Fortalice”.
Fortalice is a Bolton based charity, providing front-line services for people who are, or have been, affected by domestic abuse and violence. Their service and support provision to children and families in Bolton is extensive. Do you know how extensive and what they do?  This webinar will look at the services, functions and referral processes provided for the benefit of victims of domestic abuse and professionals working with them in Bolton.
Their support includes refuge accommodation, local community services, education and accredited training for professionals.

All courses are free and will take place online. 
Only 2 persons per agency,  per course, permitted unless otherwise stated.
