An update on progress and new developments for the IFD service is detailed in their Autumn newsletter.
Brief summary:
- The online referral form has been updated to reflect user feedback and is now available to use without time limit.
- Accessing the online referral form and the online information request form is easy, simply go to the Bolton Council website and search 'worried about a child'.
- Working groups have been established - these are multi-agency groups with the aim to improve the lives of children in Bolton. If you'd like more information about the groups and details of how you can participate, please contact: Natalie.Nicholson@bolton.gov.uk.
- A 'consultation line' is now available (on a trial basis) - talk to a Social Worker to discuss if a referral is needed or not, without sharing details of the child and family. Call:01204 331500 (option 3).
- Website updates help professionals and the public access clearer information about IFD, how to refer and how to support families through Early Help.
