Face coverings for Childminders
Details about how Childminders can obtain emergency packages of face coverings and PPE at no cost.
As announced by Government last week, the Department of Health and Social Care is completing a one-off delivery of approximately 450 ‘Type IIR’ masks to early years providers (maintained nursery schools, school-based nurseries, and private, voluntary and independent nurseries) and primary schools where there are multiple members of adult staff and visitors on the premises.
Childminders will not receive a direct delivery of contingency face covering stock, however in Bolton we are working to ensure you can get access to face coverings. Rather than going to local schools and nurseries we are working with Start Well Centres and further information will be sent directly to you and via the Facebook group early next week. It is hoped that packs can be collected towards the end of next week. A pack of face coverings alongside an emergency pack of PPE are being provided at no cost to Childminders.
