Description
This facilitated network opportunity will allow EYFS leaders in Schools and Daycare settings the opportunity to meet as partners. There will be a focus on planning, reviews, and working with families in their area.
We will discuss:
- Setting and school partnerships, reviews and working with families in their area.
- How to maintain and inspire a whole team EYFS ethos that informs practice.
- The EYFS curriculum.
- Spotlight on managers and leaders roles in supporting transition.
- How to secure and embed quality and outcomes in your setting.
- The roles, responsibilities, characteristics of an EYFS Leader.
- Leading partnerships (parents / locality / agencies / transitions).
There will also be a tour the venue with time to share good practice.
How often are the sessions?
For Bolton EYFS School leads, this network meeting takes place once a term in different venues.
In summer 2025, we are inviting leaders from the Private, Voluntary, and Independent (PVI) sector to join the network session at the Valley Community Primary School.

Who is this network meeting for?
This network meeting is for EYFS Leaders in Schools and Daycare settings (PVIs). It is suitable for teachers new to the position and for existing EYFS leads who want to develop their effectiveness.

Commitments and Cancellations
In order to maintain best value, we need to run this course on a maximum occupancy basis. If your place is confirmed but you are unable to attend, please send an alternative representative or cancel your place in writing by e-mailing: StartWellBookings@bolton.gov.uk with a minimum of 24 hours' notice.
An administration fee of £25 per person will be charged for the non-attendance of any individual following an online or confirmed telephone booking. These fees will be waived if you send a replacement attendee from your setting to take up your place.
Bolton Start Well operates on a not-for-profit basis. Our focus is to achieve positive meaningful outcomes. Any surplus income is reinvested to maintain and improve the quality of our services and customer care.
